Job Description
Our client, an academic medical center, is seeking to hire Gastroenterologist. As the Gastroenterologist, provide an integration of quality care and education.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the patient care within the division.
- Ensure appropriate coverage for patients and provide specific guidelines for physician and nurse practitioner performance expectations.
- Monitor staff and ensure all paperwork, education, training for providers is being met and oversee future recruitment.
- Report to the Chair of the Department of Medicine and the CMO.
- Provide clinical care and planning in an interdisciplinary approach in collaboration with the leadership and other health care professionals.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
- Advanced endoscopy training is preferred.
- 1+ years of prior experience
- A track record of success in advanced endoscopy (EGD/Stent), clinical care and medical education is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification
Salary: $375,000-$400,000 . The posted range is not a guarantee. The actual salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and education and could fall outside of this range. Contact us for more information.
