Job Description
Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is hiring a Clinical Supervisor to join their Outpatient Program in Brooklyn. This role will play a critical part in overseeing counselors and contributing to the overall success of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and guidance to a team of counselors, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to deliver high-quality care to patients.
- Promoting a culture of excellence, improving program outcomes, and fostering collaboration among team members.
- Staying up-to-date with best practices in clinical supervision and program management, and to apply this knowledge to drive positive change within the organization.
Required Skills:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, counseling, psychology)
- CASAC-T certification
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical supervision or a related role
- At least 3 years of experience in Substance Use Disorders/ Addiction Medicine
- Proven track record of success in managing teams and improving program outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
